Fall of Babylon – The End of Religion: Part 1
TIME’S UP MYSTICS!
The Fall of Babylon and the destruction of false religion is a major precursor event to God’s final judgment and Armageddon
We’ve spent the last few posts covering the 7 Trumpets of Revelation Chapters 8 and 9. The events that the Trumpets serve to break the strongholds that Satan has erected over the world, allowing Jesus to return to earth and claim the world that he paid for on the Cross. It also clears the way for God to unleash His wrath upon the evil doers
But before the “Great Escrow Closing” can commence, there is one final organization of evil that must get its recompense – religion!
The Fall of Babylon means the fall of religion.
As I’ve documented many times on this blog (and the podcast), religion is probably the most destructive practice and institution to ever plague mankind. On a personal level, religion is man’s attempt to reach the divine under his own power. This is generally done by adding his own rules and efforts on top of God’s revealed word in order to “improve” on God’s doctrine.
This makes religion the ultimate show of pride. I mean, what’s more, prideful that thinking you can make God “better”?
Like all forms of pride, religion leads to brain damage. It leads you to believe that you are getting closer to God, while in fact to are mover farther away from Him
Organized religion takes this prideful endeavor to an institutional level by formalizing these man-made rules and requirements, and turning them into orthodoxy presided over by “elite” men (priests, popes, holy-men, masters, advisors, prelates, etc.) who use their position to lord over the masses. (I call them “mystics”).
Organized religion (secular and spiritual) has resulted in more death, destruction, murder, immorality, lasciviousness, theft, physical and mental torture, subjugation, oppression, sheer brutality, and spiritual degradation than any institution in all of history.
Religion is the antithesis of God’s will and His plan for humanity. God hates pride, therefore God hates religion. Thus Religion will have to be destroyed.
Organized religion began in Babylon, and that’s where it will end – with the fall of Babylon.
The Unlikely Instrument of Destruction
Interestingly, God will NOT be the one who will be directly responsible for the fall of Babylon. Poetically, it will actually be SATAN who puts an end to the various world religions!
The stunning irony is that Satan was the one who initiated religion in the first place. Religion began back in the Garden of Eden when Eve, upon being tempted by the serpent, added her own dictates on top of God’s commandment not to eat the Forbidden Fruit.
Since then Satan has continued to appeal to man’s pride through personal and institutional religion in order to achieve his goal of corrupting man, thwarting God’s plan, and setting up his own kingdom on earth.
Organized religion was started by the Satanic duo of Semiramis and Nimrod in ancient Babylon. When God judged and scattered the people, the priests of Babel established themselves in the various new nations. It was through the efforts of these Mystics that organized religion flourished.
False Sense of Security
For millennia and generations, the Mystics sat smugly and comfortably in their seats of power – be they royal thrones, Papal cathedra, lodges, guilds, secret societies, foundations, or boards of directors – believing they were equal partners with the Fallen Cherub.
When Satan is finally given leave to establish his kingdom, the Mystics will come to realize in horror that the entity with whom they thought they had an alliance was actually an enemy waiting for the right moment to unseat them.
They thought they were the “insiders”; the elite who had a special concordant with Satan and his minions which would give them power and authority during his reign as reward for their service, loyalty, and eagerness to despoil their fellow mortals.
However, they will awaken one day to the fall of Babylon and find that instead of valuable partners, they were actually dupes and useful idiots.
Satan is Unwilling to Share his Throne
Satan tolerated the Mystics when they helped him with his short term goals of keeping man distracted from his agenda and keeping them away from God. but once Satan sets up his Tribulation kingdom, and his true motive of being the ONLY “god” who receives man worship is exposed, he will no longer have any need the various and sundry world religions (including the secular ones – I’m looking at you evolution…).
Satans ultimate desire is to have ALL of man’s devotion for himself and his Antichrist. That has been his goal from the start.
Horus, Osirus, Zeus, Zoroaster, Krishna, paganism, Odin, Allah, Humanism, Buddha, Atheism, materialism, celebrity worship, Wicca, etc. were all just temporary stop gaps.
Satan has no problem with any belief system that keeps men away from the one true God and His Christ. But at the mid-point of the Tribulation, all bets are off.
The Bible says that the Antichrist will elevate himself above ALL that called “god” – including Allah, the Pope, and any other symbol of false religion.
The Fall of Babylon will be a Rude Awakening
All the Mystics who thought they were in Satan’s favor will suddenly be made aware of their folly.
And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters:
With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication.
So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet colored beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns…And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire…
Rejoice over her, thou heaven, and ye holy apostles and prophets; for God hath avenged you on her.
– Revelation 17:1-3, 16 Revelation 18:20
Why the Symbolism of a Woman/Whore Riding a Beast?
In the Bible, women are often used to symbolize the Godly and ungodly belief systems of man (Revelation 12 is a great example as is Zechariah 5). The fact that this woman is also a whore is a graphic idiom for her relationship with Satan.
We’ve covered the symbolism of the beast in a previous post – it represents the evil historic spiritual rulers of earthly kingdoms. The horns are the final set of demonic rules that will give all earthly authority to Satan and the Antichrist.
Religions, religious leaders, spiritual advisors, fake pastors, secret societies – Skull and Bones, Illuminati, Knights Templar, Knights of Malta, the Papacy, The Bilderbergers, Bohemian Grove, Trilateral Commission, Council on Foreign Relations, Rosicrucians, etc., humanists, evolutionists and any other false belief system you want to throw in. They are ALL the Woman on the Beast. They are ALL whores
The Mystics received material gain in return for being used to oppress, deceive, and destroy their fellow man. And like all whores, once their “services” are no longer needed, they will be discarded. The Bible says they will be burned with fire – meaning there will be nothing left of them.
The Final Judgment of the Mystics won’t be a drawn-out endeavor
The physical and spiritual infrastructure that took the Mystics thousands of years to build will be destroyed “in one hour”! The Mystics od Spirit will finally receive Swift and brutal justice. And the righteous will rejoice!
Satan – the Cosmic Tool
Don’t be dismayed by the idea that Satan and the Antichrist will be the one’s denotatively executing the judgment on the Mystic. Satan is a tool. God often uses the wicked to exact His vengeance on other wicked ones. It’s further evidence that God is ultimately the One in control, and His will WILL be done no matter what. Even if it’s done by His enemies. And like I wrote earlier, it’s quite poetic.
What About all the Mystic’s Riches?
The fall of spiritual Babylon is only half of the judgment. The Mystics have amassed unimaginable material wealth, assets, and territory over the millennia. That’s all got to go too.
