Jesus is a warrior! Although the common image we have of Jesus is the compassionate rabbi we see in the Gospels, the most prevalent depiction of the second member of the Godhead is that of a warrior. Whether it’s the “Captain of the Lord’s Host”, the “Angel of the Lord”, or the “Word of God”, The Son is regularly presented as a military commander.
Even during the incarnation, we see strong hints of the mighty warrior who fights on behalf of Jehovah. In this week’s podcast we will wrap up our series on the Great Invasion by examining the fearsome Warrior King called Jesus
