God is eternal. So how does someone who is outside of linear time experience physical time?
Revelation 12 features an amazing vision in which the Apostle John sees all of history play out as one scene with everything happening at once. This is how an eternal entity views time! It’s not separate pasts, presents, and futures – it’s everything constantly in the process of happening!
Another way to think of this is as a story! Stories are timeless because we can know the entirety of a story but simultaneously experiences each separate moment. Our history is God’s Story! We discuss this high concept idea on this week’s episode
